I am an American citizen married to an Austrian and therefore living permanently in Austria.

I am looking to "refresh" my career as programmer...

Up until now I have concentrated my programming career on Microsoft products, such as web applications written in .NET and "classic" ASP, or desktop applications written in .NET and Visual Basic. I am now very interested in changing course towards open-source languages such as (especially) Python (

http://www.python.org), and open-source application frameworks such as Django (

http://www.djangoproject.com).
