About me
Born in Sweden, I have spent 28 years in the IT field. My career started at a young age where I worked late hours programming older Norsk Data and VAX computers at the Uppsala Technical University, the city in which I also studied electronics.
I have been involved in the complete development lifecycle of a wide array of projects and products, such as business applications (e.g. ERP, CRM, DMS and Business Intelligence), embedded systems (e.g. access control, alarm systems, intelligent vehicles, medical device control, QM measurement devices), agent based trading platforms (including Alando, the forerunner that would become eBay Germany) and management systems for distributed WAN cost-analysis at Deutsche Bahn, to name a few.
Before moving to Slovakia in 2007, I spent the last 15 years mainly in southern Germany where I have designed and deployed systems for the European finance and logistics industry. I have held VP, CTO and CEO hats in several startup companies since the early 90's.
My company enprovia Software Engineering, founded May 2006, provides Business-to-Mobile solutions for mid sized and large corporations throughout Europe and the USA. I have had the luck to work with very talented people throughout my career and we have a strong team of very dedicated engineers, architects and team leads at enprovia, supplying mobile device, J2EE, .NET and Macintosh software engineering.
