Until 2010: As Nordic Business Development Manager Content & Collaboration at Oracle Danmark Dipl.-Ing. Cord Focke was responsible for the development of new business opportunities in the countries Danmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany.
Before joining Oracle Cord Focke was engaged with his company LCT Consulting in the business areas of direct selling, ECommerce and direct marketing, in the conception and development of web based applications and portals as well as the employment of content management systems.
During the years 2000-2005 Cord Focke co-founded, built up and run the company OpenKnowledge software and consulting GmbH with up to 30 employees. He had the function as managing director and projects manager in the range of concept development and development of integrative, web based application platforms on basis of high-scalable technologies.
Among his customers were telecommunication companies ranked beside medium enterprises, newspaper publishers and industrial firms. Besides that Cord Focke was responsible for marketing, presentation and developing new business. In 2005 Cord Focke left OpenKnowledge GmbH unsolicited, then concentrated on his in 2003 and 2004 successfully founded new company LCT Consulting and joined Oracle as BDM in 2006.

Bis 2010: Dipl.-Ing. Cord Focke war für Oracle als Nordic Business Development Manager für den Auf- und Ausbau der Geschäftsfelder Enterprise Content Management und Collaboration in den Nordic-Ländern Dänemark, Schweden, Norwegen und Finland verantwortlich.
Zuvor war Cord Focke rund 7 Jahren selbstständig tätig und hat sich zuletzt mit seinem Unternehmen LCT Consulting als selbstständiger Berater in den Bereichen Direkt Vertrieb, ECommerce und Direkt Marketing, in der Konzeption und Entwicklung von internetbasierten Anwendungen und Portalen sowie dem Einsatz von Content Management Systemen für namhafte Unternehmen aus Deutschland engagiert.
In den Jahren 2000 – 2004 war Cord Focke als Mitgründer und Gesellschafter des Unternehmens OpenKnowledge software consulting GmbH mit bis zu 30 Mitarbeitern neben seiner Funktion als Geschäftsführer und Projektleiter vorwiegend im Bereich der Konzeption und Entwicklungsleitung von integrativen, internetbasierten Anwendungsplattformen auf Basis hochskalierbarer Technologien aktiv.
Zu seinen Kunden zählten neben Medienunternehmen, Zeitungsverlagen und Industrie auch Unternehmen aus dem Bereich der Telekommunikation. Zudem hat Cord Focke die Gebiete Vermarktung, Präsentation und Neukundenakquise aktiv betreut. Mit dem Wunsch nach beruflicher Veränderung schied Cord Focke im Jahre 2005 freiwillig aus der OpenKnowledge GmbH aus, konzentrierte sich dann auf sein neues, in 2003 und 2004 als zweites Standbein erfolgreich aufgebautes Unternehmen LCT Consulting und wechselte in 2006 als BDM zu Oracle Danmark.
