I started 1992 as Junior IT-Specialist and Microsoft Office teacher in Transportation sector. Three years later I changed as IT-Specialist into Chemical and Pharmaceutical sector to plan, manage and maintain campus LANs. FDA regulations, ISO standards and best practice recommendations were the main challenge at that time.

1998 I changed to IBM as senior IT-Specialist and focused on banking and insurance sector in Network environment. Banking regulations, extensive audits and due care became more important.
2008 IBM handed over network services to AT&T so I followed to AT&T. The actuall challenge is security, compliance and business transformation.

Management and Leadership:
I started my management career in 2004 in IBM Leadership Development Centre. Beside the job I accomplished my diploma in economics and leadership at NSH Basel.

Project Management:
WWPMM certification 2003.

Security and compliance management:
Also since 1998 I experience as well most areas and domains of IT-Security with
main focus on Telecommunications and Network Security, Physical Security, Information Security
Governance, Risk Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning.

Actual Focus:
My actual challenge is to get my IT Security skills certified as (ISC)2 - CISSP. (A mile wide and an inch deep) --> www.isc2.org

Private

"A beautiful wive and three healty kids - these are my most important bits".

Action is satisfaction! 1994 I got my single piston airplane licence and since then I actively practice that hobby.
