About me

Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Intarome Fragrance Corporation, Daniel Funsch has worked in a variety of capacities with the company since August 1985. Over his more than 25 years with the company, Mr. Funsch has grown the business extensively, averaging 8 to 12 percent growth each year. Daniel Funsch became President of Intarome in 1997 and took full ownership of the company in 2001. He has overseen a number of acquisitions, including Crompton & Knowles in 1994, Kato World Wide in 1997, American Aromatics in 1999, Noville in 2007, and Shaw Mudge & Company in 2008. Intarome currently develops a range of custom flavors and fragrances used in a wide variety of products, including food and beverages, household products, and cologne.

Daniel Funsch has been widely recognized for excellence in his field, including selection as runner-up for the State of New Jersey's Entrepreneur of the Year award. Mr. Funsch belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the Private Label Manufacturers Association, the Fragrance Materials Association, the International Sanitary Supply Association, and International Fragrance Association North America. Daniel Funsch also holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

A supporter of the Lupus Foundation of America and Spectrum for Living, Daniel Funsch has dedicated time and effort to a range of charitable organizations. In his spare time, he also enjoys traveling and has visited a wide range of places around the world, including Mexico, Aruba, St. Martin, France, England, and Korea. Daniel Funsch spends time boating for pleasure and owns two boats. He also collects vintage and modern cars, including a Range Rover HSE, a Jaguar XKR, a 1959 Corvette, and three Rolls Royces.
