About me

I have worked for the roaming team of two different European operators: Mobistar Belgium and SFR France. I have an extended troubleshooting experience with all the SS7 protocols and as a networking engineer I have good knowledge of the TCP/IP world. In particularly I have collaborated to the upgrade of the security policies of SFR’s DNS and firewalls. Working at SFR I have been in charge of the technical support during the connection trial with two different roaming hubs (Vodafone and Comfone). My tasks were configuration of the core network equipment (HLR, VLR, SGNS and STP) and coordination of testing and troubleshooting on the SFR side.
 
I have good communication and negotiation skills that I have developed through my professional experiences in the Protocol Crew for 2006 Winter Olympic Games and my later job positions, daily collaborating with the GSM operators all around the world. I also have good training skills and I am used to write short tutorials and guides. At SFR, during the upgrade of the Gp equipment (DNS and FW), I wrote the documentation explaining the ongoing changes to the other teams.
