About me

Hi my name is David Walker, golf is my profession, I started playing golf in 1972 in Australia and served my apprenticship in England at the Cleckheaton golf club as the asisstant to Mike Ingham (one of britains finest golfers at the time)
I have since worked in England, France, Spain and Germany as a golf teacher, in 2000 I was working as the teacher at the Golfclub Thürk near the Baltic coast, when the owner wanted to retire.
I jumped at the chance to buy my own golfcourse and build up my own business. I have a wife Magosia who is polish and two wonderfull sons George 10 and James 9, so I was very happy to be able to settle down in this most beautifull part of the world and was also prepared for the hard work of running and maintainig a golfcourse whilst still carrying on in my main profession of being a golf teacher.
I love music and also do lots of studio sessions in winter, and even made a CD a couple of years ago.
Red wine and good food are of utmost importance to me aswell as being able to relax in the seldom quiet times.
I am an avid Leeds United fan and would love to see them back in the Premier division where they belong.
