About me

Dino Di Donato has built a dynamic career as a community organizer and advocate, a non-profit arts administrator, and an educator. For more than two decades, Dino Di Donato has advised organizations like the San Diego Ballet and Theater Flamenco in San Francisco, but he has also diversified his professional pursuits into counseling and psychotherapy, a reflection of his energy, curiosity, and passion for helping others. In 2000, Dino Di Donato earned his Master of Science in Counseling and his certification as a Marriage and Family Therapist at San Francisco State University. Dino Di Donato then became a Psychotherapist at North County Mental Health in San Mateo County in California, where he provided psychological services for children and their families for more than seven years. Having founded Market Street Center for Psychotherapy in San Francisco in 2004, Dino Di Donato focuses on mindfulness and emotional intelligence as methods for reexamining patients’ life narratives. Dino Di Donato takes a hands-on, compassionate approach with each of his patients, and he has earned a reputation for his insight and commitment. In addition to holding his Master of Science in Counseling, Dino Di Donato also earned a Master of Education in Counseling from Saint Lawrence University. Dino Di Donato received a Bachelor of Arts from Marietta College, where he studied history, English, and political science. In addition to operating his own practice, Dino Di Donato has held the position of Lecturer at San Francisco State University since 2006.
