The italian Diva Agata - Biography
This voice can murmur and purr, be thundering, whistle, bawl out, stroke...

AGATA, the perfect virtuoso!
Already as a child her special talent for entertainment was recognised, she was promoted accordingly and her voice was continuously qualified up to a circumference by now more than 4 octaves! Also her repertoire is astonishing and reaches from melancholy blues over trendy musical melodies, from sexy pop over cryptic soul up to big classic music.

Whatever she sings, she controls it in such a way, as if her voice is not a medium for communication of thoughts but solely to provide messages by feelings.

From her first engagements in regional premises (as for example "Schwarzer Bock" and "Käfer's Gastronomie" in Wiesbaden) and stages (like those of the "Offenbach" and "Frankfurt" city halls), over fixed reservations for hotel chains (e.g., Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel, Maritim hotels), over international trips for clubs like among others "Robinson" up to the experiences made during her worldwide appearances (e.g., in Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Mallorca, Italy and much more ...) it was a long way, but this gave her the finishing touch which typifies her very special charisma.

It is almost impossible to describe her professionalism in a written form, not even notes can mediate roughly what puts out her appearance: the sound of her voice, her timbre, her expressiveness, her charm, her sicilian spirit, her spontaneity and/or her flexibility, not only what her relaxed presentation in 4 languages concerns, or her song performance in 7 languages worldwide! Bereits als Kind wurde ihre besondere Begabung zum Entertainment erkannt, entsprechend gefördert und ihre Stimme kontinuierlich ausgebildet bis hin zu einem Umfang von nunmehr über 4 Oktaven! Auch ihr Repertoire ist erstaunlich und reicht von melancholischem Blues über trendige Musicalmelodien, von sexy Pop über abgründigen Soul, bis hin zur großen Klassik. Egal was sie singt, sie beherrscht es so, als ob für sie die Stimme kein Medium zur Mitteilung von Gedanken ist, sondern einzig und allein dazu da, um Botschaften per Gefühl zu vermitteln.

3. The A380 Song story


Singer Diva Agata makes a musical love-explanation for the giant A380 ... with her song NEAR TO THE SKY
Preface:

I am particularly glad that this special song will be played already during the following demo-proving to begin from January 2007 aboard the A380, this is quite a big honour for me and I would like to thank warmly Airbus S.A.S. and all friends who have helped.

I dedicate this special song for the A380 to all fans who can hardly wait - like myself - that this flying giant will finally fly, as well as to all engineers, developers, inventors and, above all, to all pilots who fly with their hearts and who carry responsibility for passengers on board and for the people on earth while flying through the sky. Yes, nowadays we have the "chance" to fly, not too long ago people could only dream about it! In my song "Near to the Sky" you will have the feeling you are sitting in the airbus A380 and you begin to fly... I wish all fans and partners very "musical flights", before the "take off" for the public starts!

As a teenager my most sincere wish was ... to be a pilot! As I visited occupational exhibitions with my school class, we walked kilometres, but not one job which was introduced there was of interest to me .... (except for the "music" in my heart which accompanies me since I was born) .... suddenly I found myself in front of a stall of a well known German airline ...men and woman dressed as pilots and flight attendants ....... I was fascinated….. "THAT'S IT"... I knew, one day flying would influence my profession!

I furthermore enjoyed the exemplary education of my parents Rosario and Maria and used it for myself as a model to create something special on our planet earth, since my father invented the famous chocolate with the brandy and the cherry in it approx. 43 years ago, he was well awarded for it. Our cousin Arturo Di Modica dedicated the sculpture "The Charge Bull" in Wall Street to the city of New York. And I ... I always wanted to compose some very special music, a very special song.

Now, I learned to know the true love, my husband...so I became a mum quite young... so I had to master the "flying" between nappies and bottles and my wonderful children who mean everything to me ... therefore I had to postpone my desire of flying to later.

I deepened my musical feelings and could conquer several stages of this world, between Las Vegas, Spain, Italy, Arab Emirates, Germany and many more....

After the death of my husband in August 2003 I started dealing again very intensely with flying in 2004. A good friend of mine, who is pilot, could give me back the smile on my face ... we spoke a lot about the phenomenon flying and the feelings which occur during flights if one is a pilot with heart or if one is passionate fan of flying, like me.

So I met again the "miracle of flying" and my big love, the "Airbus A380", I dare to call this long-haul aircraft "MY GIANT", I was fascinated about every report, about everything concerning this miracle, about the ability of human brain to manage such an unbelievable thing.

With every information, every broadcasting, every conversation about the "A380", I started taking off, I started flying ... I heard the voice of my good friend, the pilot, I heard his voice packed in a song, I heard the takeoff, the landing... the noises of the airplane, the power, I heard the whole flight, I even heard the noises in the body of my giant, my A380 which can carry more than 800 passengers, which is called a flying hotel... I can only say WOW... so it came that I wanted to pack up these pictures, these noises and feelings musically, until I found, finally, the right colleague, Giorgio Camese, also a musician and composer who believed in me and my idea. Therefore we together completed the work, the special song for the A380: "NEAR TO THE SKY". I would say special thanks to Giorgio and Nicky.

It was a long way to undertake every possibility and to attach the right contacts, until one day I received the licence from the mother's house Airbus S.A.S. to dedicate the special song "NEAR TO THE SKY" to my giant A380. As a result I have worked with big diligence day and night to finalize the composition and this special musical project.

So my dream of "flying" has started to become real, with a lot of love and vigour. Also with disappointments, some did not believe that it was possible to reach this selfsedate aim realisticly.... HOWEVER, ONE MUST ONLY WANT IT AND SERIOUSLY BELIEVE IN IT AND WORK HARD FOR IT TO REACH THE AIM... just like the fantastic planning of this great project, airbus A380.

And, finally, my great love, my giant of the winds receives the license to fly at middle of December. So many flight hours already finished with special test pilots, 4 successful test flights (Flight Routes) or - as it is called professionally - "Technical Route Proving Missions", between Toulouse, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Sydney, Vancouver, Seoul, Singapore and Johannesburg....

I dedicate my whole musical feeling to my giant, my big love ... the A380, with my best wishes for a wonderful future... "NEAR TO THE SKY".

Yes, my friends, I am "ready for take off", with you, all together, worldwide, we can hardly expect to fly soon, a flight over the Atlantic and between moon and sun with the special cabine comfort of the A380 must be simply gigantic!!

Yes ... we fly, dear friends, together with the soulful song full of music "NEAR TO THE SKY" - yes, we are " ready for take off "!
