About me

I am a man of many hats, so to speak. Following my discharge from the Marines I went into private security, holding several positions before landing in my current, full-time post. In my current position, I coordinate an air quality program and am the project administrator for my client's LEED project at their corporate headquarters - in addition to my regular security duties. I have served as a Free/Open Source Software advocate and journalist, including owning and operating Blue Gnu Media & Technology, a Free Software news website. I am also an ordained Baptist minister, currently taking a sabbatical.

I have a wide variety of basic skills, ranging from planning and coordinating sustainability projects, to installing and running Linux-based GNU systems & services, to performing religious ceremonies and biblical counseling. I have an interest in foreign languages, and am currently learning German and Spanish. I enjoy meeting people of different countries and cultures, and am an avid cyclist.
