About me

Dylan is currently Infineon's global Zero Defect program manager. Dylan has served as the Operations Manager in Infineon’s IC Development Center in Xi’an, China. Dylan was recruited into Infineon Asia Pacific R&D center in Singapore to oversee the R&D's project office, quality & business excellence (QBE) function. In Infineon, Dylan's has made several innovation in Infineon's comprehensive quality assessment system called the System Self Assessment (SSA) and Process Self Assessment (PSA). The innovation has received noteworthy recognition by Det Norske Veritas (DNV). Prior to Infineon, Dylan was with the Singapore Technologies (ST) group of companies for 6 years holding different positions. One of the key highlights in Dylan's tenure in ST was when he founded Knowledge Works Systems (KWS) which provided an innovative P2P software to automate complex data processing. Dylan won the prestigious ‘Outstanding Quality Excellence in ST (QUEST) Manager’ award in 2000 when he was a TQM manager at Chartered. Dylan worked as Statistical Method Engineer (SME) in Motorola where he designed and managed the Seremban plant’s Six Sigma technical program. There he was consulted on all the plant's 6sigma projects. He taught and mentored existing and new 6sigma black belts. Dylan also served as a national QC judge in Singapore on 1999-2000. Dylan earned his degrees through 100% academic scholarships. Dylan has a Masters Degree in applied mathematics from Miami University and Bachelors degree in mathematics from Berea College (KY, USA). Dylan has also done post graduate studies in Environmental Engineering. Besides consistently winning academic awards during his days in academia, Dylan has won several entrepreneurship awards such as the Singapore Technologies' Incubator@Work! seed funding (2000) and the Singapore's YPAP Globalization Business Competition (2006).
