About me

I'm an antropologist specialised on documentary filmmaking. I had a production company in Germany, Hamburg (www.oxossifilm.com) , but left the country in June 2006 to live in French Polynesia. I now work here as a freelance filmmaker and assist the head of our local documentary filmfestival, the FIFO - www.fifo-tahiti.com.

I have just finished a documentary on adoption in Tahiti - 'Ma famille adoptée', that was co-produced by Archipel prod (www.archipelprod.com), Bonne Pioche Paris (www.bonnepioche.fr), France Télévision and Canal +.

Currently I am working on a new project and am organising a pitching event during our Festival (www.oceaniapitch.org). We are looking for documentary film projects conerning Oceania.

I speak French, German and English fluently and am able to communicate efficiently in Portuguese (Brasilian). Besides that I have a long history of set assistance - music videos, tv-movies etc.

International film crews who whish to shoot in French Polynesia may contact me for information or if in need of a local researcher / stringer / contacter etc.
