In 1998, Eric left his career in offline sales and marketing to join the design agency, Razorfish. He project managed large-scale projects in San Francisco, Melbourne, Hamburg and Munich for clients such as Autoweb, Village Roadshow Pictures, Audi, and Hypovereinsbank, and later became the head of the Experience Group at Razorfish Germany where he applied his usability and user-centered design skills on projects for Bayern LB, Metler Toledo, T-Mobile, and Stage Entertainment. In 2002, he was appointed as manager of design and usability for LexisNexis Europe and in 2004 as head of projects for a digital music marketing agency in London. There he oversaw various projects for Nokia, Orange, O2, and Sony. In 2005, he moved to Berlin to manage online operations for the NGO dropping knowledge.

Before starting LGMi in 2009, Eric consulted on projects for Vodafone, Fjord, the German Center for Artificial Intelligence, and Metaversum.
