Hakkımda

Creating quality software is both: challenging and fun. I have a passion for finding the right solution to a problem and solving it in an efficient state of the art way.
Over the recent years it has become obvious that one needs agile methodologies in projects to be successful. In my past projects I worked and enjoyed in multiple roles of agile processes like SCRUM or Kanban or "custom". Having software which is of high quality due to its continuous testing and potentially shippable every iteration is of such huge value that it cannot be neglected.

On the other hand I continuously train and improve my skills as a professional developer. Certifications are one path to go for that, but other are important for me too. Like Pair Programming, doing Acceptance Test Driven Development, prototyping in new programming languages and coaching fellow developers. I also like to publish articles on our blog or in magazines. I even wrote a book and talk at conferences. In a fast paced business like information technology, it is even more important to never stop learning.

I worked for big enterprises before and especially like about codecentric, that every employee gets free time for learning and innovating. We have a bunch of cool people here and do awesome work.
In my role as technical head of our Performance Solutions department, I have the great opportunity to help our clients overcome the big problems with their application performance and make software profitable again. Performance issues are challenging my skills every time, which makes me really like my job.
