About me
my name is Fang-ting Kuo-Pechlivanidis. (Fang-ting: my firstname in Chinese, Kuo: my last name in Chinese, Pechlivanidis: greek familiy name, taken over from my husband) I come from Taiwan and live since 1996 in Bonn, Germany.
After my study in Taipei, which majored in German Languages & Literatures, I came to Germany for a further study in translation. Besides Chinese, I also selected Japanese as my second language to translate into German. During my study-time, I've worked more than 30 times as interpreter at diverse international fairs.
I like to communicate with people with different cultural backgrounds. Therefore I focused on intercultural management during my MBA-Study in Rheinbach, Germany. This Study showed me, how a good communication can influence the success for a international cooperation. This comfirm me for my experience from fairs and trade between Europe and Asia.
For the future I would like to operate as intercultural trainer, who takes care of efficient cooperations and good communication between Europe (especially Germany) and Asia (especially China and TW) with her knowledge about cultural particularities.
Thank you very much for your interest and I now hope to hear from you soon,
with best regards
