About me
For intercultural communication, I furthermore believe that it is essential to have lived/worked in a foreign country for a longer period of time in order to developed a great deal of understanding for foreign cultures and customs. All books you can find in the stores are nice to have but they oftentimes do not tell the true story.
Moreover, I have a strong believe in diversity. Diversity is positive and I hope that globalization in the negative sense will not lead to a further destruction of diversity. It is nice to have a common language to communicate with, but over this do not forget where you come from! If one day we will globally all watch the same shows on TV, eat the same food, wear the same clothes and shop the same chain stores, it will be very, very boring!
Tolerance is the means to mutual understanding. Never say "It is worse/It is better than at home" but say "It is different!".
Ethics is an important topic. I see huge deficits here. Economic growth and development that is self-sustaining and not exploiting the global resources excessively is what every business executive should strive to achieve. Less greed, more rational behavior to the benefit of the community and more long-term strategies.
Well, maybe this told you a little bit about myself. Trust me, I am not always as sincere as it might sound here. If you are interested to know more, then please feel free to get in contact.
