About me
Judge Frederick Shaller began his career as an associate with the firm of Kirtland & Packard LLP. Concentrating his practice in the defense of attorneys, doctors, and architects, Judge Frederick Shaller handled malpractice actions. Subsequently joining the plaintiff’s personal injury law firm of Harney & Moore, he was recognized with a partnership in 1984, and the firm was renamed Harney, Wolfe, Pagliuso, Shaller & Carr. During his tenure as a trial lawyer with the firm, he focused his efforts on product liability, torts, and personal injury. Opening his own firm in Pasadena in 1989, Judge Shaller handled cases concerning health care law. During his 14 years in private practice, he gained much recognition for his erudition and skill.
A member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Judge Frederick Shaller speaks to continuing education classes and seminars on the issues involved in family law cases. During his career, Judge Shaller has lectured on various topics for The State Bar of California and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is a member of the California Judges Association as well as The State Bar of California.
Judge Frederick Shaller is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he completed an undergraduate degree in English with a minor in psychology. Next enrolling as a law student at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, he received his J.D. in 1979. During his leisure hours, he enjoys spending time with his three adult children, as well as sailing and gardening.
