About me

Furutan Celebi is research manager in IDC's Telecommunications and Networking group. He is based in Frankfurt, Germany and is responsible for research focusing on the German enterprise communications market, specifically unified communications and collaboration, enterprise mobility, and network life-cycle services. In addition, Celebi contributes to IDC's EMEA Enterprise Mobility research program.

Celebi joined IDC in 2011. Previously he worked at mobile operators E-Plus (Germany) and MTN (South Africa), telecommunications network equipment provider Siemens (South Africa), and mobile marketing/content management firm VeriSign, formerly known as m-Qube (U.S.).

Celebi holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt degree, an MBA equivalent, from Berlin, speaks several languages, and has travelled to 47 countries to-date.
