Es el organismo que ayuda a la Iglesia en la difusión del mensaje que Jesús Misericordioso ha querido transmitir a nuestra generación por medio de Santa Faustina Kowalska; Mensaje que la Iglesia ha recogido para llevar con más eficacia al mundo la luz de la esperanza (cfr. S.S. Juan Pablo II, Discurso pronunciado en el santuario de la Divina Misericordia, Cracovia, Op. Cit.).

Este Centro es consciente de que el mensaje que Dios ha manifestado a Santa Faustina no es nada nuevo; que como toda revelación privada, tiene la función de ayudar a vivir la Revelación definitiva de Cristo con más plenitud en cierta época de la historia (cfr. Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica, n. 67).

El Centro Internacional de Difusión de la Divina Misericordia de la Arquidiócesis de Puebla cumple su misión en la fidelidad al Romano Pontífice (cfr. CIC. cc. 331 y 333), y al Señor Arzobispo de Puebla (cfr. CIC. cc. 375); en la comunión con los Obispos (cfr. CIC. c. 381), su presbiterio, y con toda la familia de Dios, la Iglesia.
