Gabriela Schweinberger

Seit über 30 Jahren lebe ich in meiner Wahlheimat Berlin wo ich studierte. Hier arbeitete ich auch von 1996 bis 2012 für die offizielle Stadtmarketingorganisation von Berlin, “Berlin Tourismus & Kongress GmbH /visitBerlin”. Dort leitete u.a. den Aufbau mehrerer Tourist Informationen. Als Bereichsleiterin war ich verantwortlich für Strategie, Projekte, Budget, Qualitätsmanagement, sowie Mitarbeiter- und Führungskräfteentwicklung im Bereich Kundenservice.

Von 2009 bis 2012 leitete ich außerdem ehrenamtlich eine europaweite Arbeitsgruppe für Tourist Informationen bei European Cities Marketing (Link?).

Es macht mir großen Spaß, die wertvollen Erfahrungen, die ich in 15 Jahren als Führungskraft im mittleren Management und Leiterin unterschiedlicher Teams sammelte,  heute meinen Kunden im Coaching, bei Seminaren, Trainings und Workshops zugute kommen zu lassen.

Mein Knowhow gebe ich seit über 10 Jahren gerne auch bei Vorträgen in unterschiedlichen Institutionen weiter, wie z.B. bei „European Cities Marketing ECM“, Tourism Forum „Win with the Lion“ in Lviv/Ukraine, „Magic Cities Germany“, „Deutsches Seminar für Tourismus DSFT“ in Berlin und der „Internationalen Tourismusbörse ITB Berlin“.  (Links?)

People, languages and travelling are my passion. Over the years, this led me to coaching, which was very useful for my tasks as an executive. Later on I deepened my knowledge during a 12-month education and training as a business and life coach. My flair for languages made it possible to work not only in my mother tongue German but also in English, Spanish, Italian, French and in different countries. I consider myself very lucky to be able to combine all these aspects to make them my profession.

I’ve been living in Berlin for over 30 years, my adopted home where I studied. Between 1996 and 2012 I worked for the official city marketing organization of Berlin “Berlin Tourism and Congress GmbH/visit Berlin”, where I was in charge of the setup of several tourist information offices. As a divisional director, I was also responsible for strategy, projects, budget and quality management as well as for staff and executive development in customer services. From 2009 to 2012, I volunteered as a chairperson of the Tourist Information Offices working group for European Cities Marketing.

Nowadays, I deeply enjoy passing on the valuable experiences that I gathered during those fifteen years of directing and managing different teams, to my clients in coaching sessions, at seminars, training-camps and in workshops. I’ve also been sharing my know-how for more than ten years during lectures in different institutions, such as European Cities Marketing ECM, Tourism Forum “Win with the Lion“ in Lviv/Ukraine, “Magic Cities Germany”, “Deutsches Seminar für Tourismus DSFT” in Berlin and the “International Tourismusbörse ITB Berlin”.

Since 2012 I've been working as a coach, trainer and consultant not only in the tourism business. Among my clients are tourism organisations as well as private companies and business professionals from all over Europe.
