About me
Rev. Gareth Parkes was born and schooled in South Africa and
when he left the army in 1979 he joined his family owned business which focused
on Industrial spares and maintenance products especially to the mining, oil and
heavy manufacturing sectors.
In 1995 Gareth Parkes arrived in the UK to study Theology and went on to Pastoral work and in 2000 he was fully ordained into ministry. In 2005 he left full time ministry to become involved in humanitarian work with a focus on African projects and also to establish a sales marketing arm for a Spanish property developer in the UK. During this period he developed a large network of contacts in Western Europe and Turkey.
In 2007 he resigned from the Spanish Developer and began offering a procurement services to companies, institutions and governments in Africa and has as a result been invited to explore the opportunities across the region which would benefit the local communities through humanitarian organisations he is a trustee in, namely Crossover Trust and ICCF.Search the XING network
