Gary Henneke

Gary Henneke is the Logistics Optimization Contract Manger at Texas Petrochemicals in Houston, Texas. Having worked in this industry since graduating from the University of Houston he has gone on to numerous ventures, and has currently grown into his third role since beginning at TPC.

This key role is expected to negotiate and solve quality issues concerning rail rates, rail car leasing, truck rates, software, marine contracts as well as numerous other tasks. GARY HENNEKE takes pride in TPC’s mission to produce products that truly enrich people’s lives, in a safe, environmentally responsible and efficient manner. Texas Petrochemicals facilities have served as a major butadiene processing facility for the production of synthetic rubber for nearly 60 years. TPC is able to move forward to diversify its product line so that it could become the world’s best-known processor and supplier for high-quality C4 chemical products and derivatives. Today, the company produces chemicals that eventually go into making the world's tires, carpets, gasoline additives and many other crucial items from the simple compounds of synthetic rubber, nylon, adhesives, catalysts and additives that go into high-performance polymers. Texas Petrochemicals can easily be considered a global leader in the chemical industry.

GARY HENNEKE has brought a significant amount of experience to the company, and has been able to aid in the corporation’s success. Some big accomplishments that Gary Henneke has are negotiating new interchange point with surface transportation during the rail mergers, negotiated with the railroads purchasing existing track and ultimately growing TPC rail storage yard from 90 cars to over 200, as well as developing emission-free valve with the help of OPW and DryLok to load various chemicals produced at TPC.

In his spare time Gary works with his church on various projects.
