About me

Gawrav Sinha was born on April 7, 1972 in Patna, India. At an early age, he began exploration of both painting and photography. Winner of many painting competitions throughout his school years, Gawrav went on to enroll in the College of Art and Crafts, Patna, in1992.

Moving to Delhi in 1995, Gawrav began work as a graphic designer and continued to develop innovative expressions of his painting and photography.

Currently, Gawrav is inspired by Vedic studies and is working on his latest abstract paintings which he calls Art Incantation. These are intense, energetic abstract paintings that are spiritual expressions of the continuous act of creation, preservation and destruction.

Awards and participations:

1993 -1st prize winner, College of Arts and Crafts, Patna.
- Award winner, painting competition by SAVE International, Patna.
- Participation in Group Art Exhibition, YMNA, Patna.

1994- Best Still Life Gold Award; Silver Medal and other Acceptances, for the fifth All India Salon of Photography, Patna.

1995 - Participated in All India Salon of Photography, Palakkad, Kerala.
- 2nd prize, pictorial color print section; 3rd prize, pictorial monochrome section in Photographic Competition and Exhibition conducted by Bihar Lalit Kala Academy, Patna.
