I managed the data portfolio and therefore launched all data devices (any cellphone where email is the primary product). Responsibilities included: creating collateral, advertising & PR campaigns, field training, vendor management, project management.

This was a contract position where I was hired to lead the marketing communications for a start-up company as one of Bell Canada's business ventures. I was responsible for collateral, advertising, and the look of the product itself. The product was a wireless device that worked much like the debit/interac card you see today.

I was responsible for launching all A-list books from high profile authors. Managed launch events for books and for store openings. Managed 12 month marketing event calendar. Managed local marketing managers. Negotiated contracts with publishing companies. Provided copywriting for catalogues and other advertising. Direct contact for media.
