Gloria has dedicated herself to the enhancement of her natural condition, lyricism, phrasing and technique through the experienced teaching of opera masters, both in Europe and America.
 
Her repertoire includes many of opera's most exciting leading ladies, as she has proven through her performance in such demanding operas as Turandot or Cosi fan Tutte
 
On stage, she combines a strong and fluid presence with a beautiful range of expression and very considerable vocal dexterity, constantly varying its colour and intensity according to the mood and the meaning of the words.
 

 

Instruction and Professional Growth
 
Gloria P. Londoño Aristizábal completed the musical studies program of the Fine Art Conservatory of Medellín. She obtained a Master degree from the Music and Representative Arts Department of the University of Antioquia, directed by the German Master Detlef Scholz.
 
Subsequently, she moved to Dresden, Germany, to enhance her singing and interpreting skills at the Carl Maria von Weber Superior College of Music and to opera with the Master Nedjaska Ailakowa. Gloria Londoño was part of the Contemporary Liric Workshops organized by Prof. Gisela Evers.
 
Gloria Londoño was selected as a finalist for the Luciano Pavarotti International Singing Contest, being the only representative of Colombia in Modena, Italy.
 
In the United States, she continued developing her skills through the guidance of Conrad L. Osborne, Will Crutchfield and Gustavo Márquez. She participated in the Ensemble Vocal Saint Mary Schola, direct by W. Ogden Booker. She was one of the promoter of the Cultural Group for the Arts of Stamford Cultural Development, where she held responsibility for opera program.
 

Gloria Londoño has been singing in world renowned venues an receiving very favourable reviews as and opera singer, soloist and as part of several Internationally acclaimed Choirs in the USA, Japan, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Paraguay.
 
It is worth mentioning her exquisite performance as Liú in the representation of Turandot, which took place in the Colon Theatre in Bogotá.
 
Lately, she has been refining and expanding her opera repertoire in Spain, with Bonaldo Giaiotti, Francisco Lázaro, Enriqueta Tarrés, the great Magda Oliveros and the famous Teresa Berganza. She is part of the Queen Sofia National School of Music, together with Tom Krause and Manuel Cid.
 

In the recent tour of the National Symphonic Orchestra of Colombia, she performed as a solo singer the in memoriam dedication to the Colombian Carmiña Gallo.
