About me

Grégoire Ramuz completes his studies at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in 1999 with a master of Environmental Engineering and Geomatics. He specialises on topics that deal with the implementation of an information system for the Archaeology Department of Jordan, using aerial and satellite images.

In January 2000, he joins Orange Communications in Lausanne as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Developer.

In 2001, he is in charge of the deployment of the Executive Information System (EIS). Between 2002 and 2003, he is Business Analyst and project Manager of the Profitability Analysis program. This experience is consolidated with the implementation of the budget and planning infrastructure where he acts as Project Manager.

In 2004, he is appointed Team Leader Business Intelligence. He contributes to the BI department strategy and provides guidance on the functional architecture.

In August 2006, Grégoire Ramuz joins Trivadis AG as consultant Business Intelligence. He is involved in a large datawarehousing project for the Swiss Federal Office of Roads where he acts as Project Manager. He is also deeply involved in the data modelling process and the development of the reporting front-end. During this period, he receives his PMP certification and is appointed Senior Consultant.

In September 2010, he leaves Trivadis to join the TPF (Transports publics fribourgeois) as head of IT.

Further to his duties at Trivadis, Grégoire Ramuz is member of the Board and Finance Chair of Youth for Understanding Switzerland, an international youth exchange organisation.
