mediaman, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Mainz, is one of the biggest interactive agencies in Germany. The agency offers owner-managed one-stop-shop service for customers, including strategy, production and maintenance services. It established a wide partner network in Munich and Boston.
mediaman Shanghai was set up to meet the increasing requirement of current customers and potential customers in the Chinese market. The new company offers marketing related services such as online branding and communication solutions for international clients.
Though just being established recently (in 2006) as an online consultancy, mediaman (Shanghai) has been around in China for several years as partner of Intermusca (Shanghai). Prior activities in China include the website localization platform 'silklink', which was established to offer adaptation of online communications to local markets.
mediaman (Shanghai) and mediaman (Germany) interact very closely with each other. Synergies have been built by cooperation work in online projects, the exchange of resources and staff training. Another partner of mediaman’s network, mediaman // research (located in Munich/Germany), provides both agencies with research services in internet behavior.
mediaman's shareholders originate from Germany, Austria and the US, all of them with a strong background in the field of internet and online communications in China. The company is wholly foreign invested and owner managed.
Currently, 10 people from China and other countries are employed in our Shanghai office, supported by several freelance associates. Due to our composition, we are small enough for personal services and big enough for comprehensive projects. We have experts for both Chinese and international markets and work for clients from all around the world.
