KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

• Project managed the merger between Blastcom and RGing this involved establishing methods to satisfy stakeholders of both firms. Conducted interviews with RGing management board to establish concerns and expectations, and representatives from both firms. Formulated comprehensive project plans to encompass all tasks relating to the merger. Communicated with all staff in the “new” company and rolled out merger implications and way forward. This proved successful and received excellent feedback from the former consultants of RGing in the smooth transition and their new role within an international company.
• Played a key role in the re-engineering and restructuring team to convince the main investor to complete second round financing. Undertook detailed business planning to ensure the operational feasibility of the business. Defined new target groups, reduced costs through maximising resource by restructuring business areas and realigned job roles and responsibilities. This approach secured funding and led to increased operational efficiency and targeted revenue to specific areas.
• Successfully secured business critical contract with HeidelbergCement. This involved working with clients to establish their needs due to nature of their business. Established the need for state-of-the-art vibration monitors and analysis software to protect the environment next to their quarries. Developed of a USP, a remote inquiry of measurement results via GSM modem or mobile phone to meet their needs. Put together a contract to supply this solution, which was the only offer of its kind. This led to securing this contract and becoming the official supplier for HeidelbergCement.
• Acted as a member of the media account management team to establish feasibility to enter the market for Intellectual Property Management systems. Conducted detailed market research and competitor analysis to prepare a detailed report. Presented report to the head of accounts and successfully secured the first IPM contract within one month for large national television broadcast station.

• Responsible for the content of two product flyer of Siemens (e-business portals and IT services in the media industry) and one product flyer of BlastCom/Instantel (vibration monitors) for the German and Austrian market.
• Increased company position within the market by conducting negotiations with Korean and Polish producers to provide orders for the whole process of the extraction of mineral raw materials.
• Decreased operating costs by 15% through identifying a number of new processes. These included new technology measurement and surveying devices requiring less manpower, new procedure to finance the company car fleet and reduced travel expenses by utilising local centres.
