About me

Having worked for various companies in different industries during my consultancy time and as supply chain manager for Odersun, I am now happy to apply my knowledge of SCM, project and business process management in the telecommunications  industry. Here I leading a team of business supply chain managers and process excellence in EMEA.

At the same time, I am working as a university lecturer and independent lecturer, e.g. International SCM, S&OP and Lean Management. This I do because I am very fond of connecting theory with real life and showing and teaching these connections to students. This way, I believe to be able to help them understand what and why they learn and what it will be good for (and why SCM is one of the most interesting and challenging departments in a company).

Within Odersun I built up the SCM department from scratch, including setting up inventory mgt., supplier mgt. and customer service structures. Before that I worked in consulting wrt. to analyzing, improving and implementing processes, e.g. Sales & Operations Planning, cross-functional teamwork for Product Life Cycle Processes and Value Chain optimization - most of all the change management aspect appeared to be the most crucial factor to success. Additionally I was able to receive training in Six Sigma, whereas I am missing the practical education.

Summarizing my studies, I started studying international business at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/ Oder (Germany) in 2002, which included my studies in Manchester where I received a Bachelor of Business in Europe in 2005. Back to the Viadrina in 2005 I continued my studies while working for Telekom and Bosch simultaneously before starting my MBA in Cordoba (Argentina) in 2006 (also part of the Viadrina studies). Back again in Germany in 2007 I finished my thesis in Spanish regarding an empirical analysis of Management Systems together with Celerant Consulting.
