Dec, 1989 –March2011 TURKISH AIRLINES INC.
Joined the Company Inspection Board as Assistant Inspector. After obtaining proficiency exam, was promoted to Inspector at Apr, 1993.
Dec, 1998 changed the department and passed on to Commercial Department and attended to the city of Bursa as Sales Manager of Southern Marmara province. In this position achieved the given targets and succeeded with increased ticket sales twice fold.
June, 2001 attended to Cairo as Regional Manager of Egypt. In this position, was responsible for Eastern African countries Sudan, Ethiopia.
TK market share, flight frequencies (from 5 times weekly to daily) and sales revenue were developed and increased (two folds within three years) under my management.
I attended South Africa as acting manager beside my duty, for clearance and closing up the offices over there, after Turkish Airlines stopped the operations to JNB and CPT.
Dec, 2004 up to September 2007 worked as Regional Manager for Lebanon and Syria.
Added one frequency for DAM and ticket sales in Syria increased over %50 at 2005 and 2006 under my management. After reorganization in May 2007, Syria split off as another management.
In spite of the extraordinary conditions in Lebanon, flight frequencies were increased from 5 times weekly to daily flights, market share grown up four times, between 2005 to 2007.
Aside from these, I organized and opened one of the most difficult destinations Lagos as a new destination for Turkish Airlines within 2006. The flights started at 27th July 2006 and this duty was completed by end of 2006.
According my personal request came back to Istanbul at the beginning of Nov. 2007 and was assigned as Middle East Specialist in head quarters.
