We started the KOMUNIKI PROJECT to SUPPORT YOU on one of the greatest macro economic trends of our time - globalization.
 
According to Goldman Sachs, the GDP of the BRIC countries (BRIC -- Brazil, Russia, India and China) will be half of the G6’ GDP by 2025 and even higher by 2050.
 
These numbers underline the ongoing globalization, which also translates to an increase of travel and relocation of individuals.
 
The number of relocations was reported as 95 million in 2000 and the number of international flights is projected to grow from 694 million to 1.6 billion by 2020. As much as globalization has created one global marketplace for goods and services, it is foreseeable that this will happen to a big extent to the labour market as well. An international labour market leads to an increased demand of new language skills and cross cultural training.
 
Today, the total number of English exams, i.e. Cambridge, TOEFL, Trinity, Celta, is reported as more than 20 million per year for 130 countries. Of course, the number of English language students is significantly higher since not all take an exam. For other languages data is not available but demand is increasing as the aforementioned GDPs are rising.
