The project deals with the trade - food - water - energy - nexus in the sector of agriculture. The trade-offs of different agricultural production pathways in Latin America are analysed with respect to global food security and environmental sustainability. The project is conducted in an interdisciplinary setting with experts from the fields of economics, hydrology and ecology to be able to find appropriate answers to complex multidisciplinary questions.
