Owner of: ACE, Youi.nl, Ideabroker.nl, Slogo.nl. He’s a firestarter, ideabroker and investor in various online projects. Creating momentum, ideas and concepts and consulting on various topics to start-ups and other clients.
He’s a no-nonsense, hands-on, client-minded, result driven, flexible, self-employed entrepreneurial type of person, but moreover, he’s a man of many ideas. He teaches and speaks on social networks at various venues.

Future:
I like to see myself as a fire starter in the genesis of authentic and radical new concepts, methods and ideas. Creating momentum for effective product and business development to find facts, flaws, fellows, and funds would be my essential contribution to a community of practice. 6 Years of teaching at the Rietveld and TU Delft After 3 years of Industrial Design and various assignments as a designer and image editor he transferred in '96 to the online community as designer and fire starter. Jan Karel worked as Creative Director: in China for Gibus.com, in Amsterdam for ABN AMRO IT, and globally as Creative Director Europe & Asia and co-founder of FirePond Europe. He lead global professional service teams and managed the FirePond Creative dept. (+35 people) in both Minsk (Belarus) and Naarden (Holland). At FirePond he successfully executed 1 million plus sales automation software implementation projects globally for ABB, Ford, NEC, Compaq, Daf, RenaultVI, Sarah Lee, Scania UK and Ricoh amongst others.
