About me
Owner of: ACE, Youi.nl, Ideabroker.nl, Slogo.nl. He’s a firestarter, ideabroker and investor in various online projects. Creating momentum, ideas and concepts and consulting on various topics to start-ups and other clients.
He’s a no-nonsense, hands-on, client-minded, result driven, flexible, self-employed entrepreneurial type of person, but moreover, he’s a man of many ideas. He teaches and speaks on social networks at various venues.

6 Years of teaching at the Rietveld and TU Delft After 3 years of Industrial Design and various assignments as a designer and image editor he transferred in '96 to the online community as designer and fire starter. Jan Karel worked as Creative Director: in China for Gibus.com, in Amsterdam for ABN AMRO IT, and globally as Creative Director Europe & Asia and co-founder of FirePond Europe. He lead global professional service teams and managed the FirePond Creative dept. (+35 people) in both Minsk (Belarus) and Naarden (Holland). At FirePond he successfully executed 1 million plus sales automation software implementation projects globally for ABB, Ford, NEC, Compaq, Daf, RenaultVI, Sarah Lee, Scania UK and Ricoh amongst others.
