About me

General
As an IT Consultant, I worked in a number of different of branches and positions.
Currently I am working for Cognizant in Switzerland where I am responsible for the Testing Program within the Finance area. Besides Program Management in Testing i am also supporting the Marketing and recruiting in this area.
From 2007 til 2010 I was Prectice Manager Testing within Sogeti Switzerland. In this period i was responsible for building and implementing the testing practice, Sales (support) and account management on testing and organising events.
Before 2007 I worked as a Project leader for a large insurance company where I’m managing several migration, infrastructure and architecture projects.
My experience, due too many different assignments in the IT sector is very broad. I usually design the functional layout and requirements for upcoming projects, which also makes the primary candidate for leading the implementation of said projects. I enjoy combining my technical skills with my people skills. I get the most satisfaction in optimizing existing processes while implementation the plans for the future.
Because of my broad knowledge and experience I am capable of managing multidisciplinary environments and identify any risks.
My primary characteristics are analytic, communicative, motivated and objective.
I’ve been working in the IT sector since 1990, and gained my knowledge through experience and continuous training. I’ve walked the path from developer to designer to team manager to architect to project manager.
I also teach testing methods and presentation skills at the academy of our consultancy office and take place in several special interest groups to discuss and design the future of our office’s internal IT.
I also work as a volunteer guide/coordinator in the Rotterdam Zoo. I’m also responsible for their monthly newsletter
