About me
Currently most of my time is taken up with a project I am working on:
“Silent Violence” is a non-profit project, whose aim is to raise awareness about “sexual abuse and violence”.
For this purpose, participating Artists from many different art forms transform the short story this project is based on into their “medium”. The story has been divided into 9 scenes. These are the basis each Artists works with.
The idea is to reach the “viewer” through as many different approaches to the subject as possible.
Did you know that approximately every third woman and every fourth man is a victim of a sexual attack? This translates into roughly 1.2 billion Women and 850 million men, so a total of about 2 billion people!
60% of these people suffer in silence out of fear of retaliation and also the stigma sexual abuse and violence still carries in our society.
We are trying to change people’s perspective with this project. Through Art, we hope to stimulate thought and animate people to help.
--------------------------------------Momentan verbringe ich die meiste Zeit damit an meinem Projekt zu arbeiten:
Silent Violence ist ein non-profit Projekt, das zur Aufklärung des Themas "Sexueller Missbrauch/Sexuelle Gewalt" dient.
Um dies zu erreichen setzen Künstler aus unterschiedlichen Sparten der Kunst eine Kurzgeschichte, die in 9 Szenen aufgeteilt wurde, in ihr Medium um.
Es gilt hier die verschiedensten Ansätze darzustellen und dem Betrachter das Thema auf vielfältige Weise näher zu bringen.
Wussten Sie, dass jede dritte Frau und jeder vierte Mann Opfer eines sexuellen Übergriffs ist?
Das entspricht in etwa 1,2 Milliarden Frauen und 850 Millionen Männern also einer ungefähren Gesamtzahl von 2 Milliarden Menschen!
60 % dieser Menschen leiden im Stillen aus Angst vor dem Stigma und auch der Art, wie unsere Gesellschaft leider immer noch mit diesem Thema umgeht.
Durch die Kunst versuchen wir diese Einstellung der Menschen zu ändern, zum Denken anzuregen und zum Helfen zu animieren!
