Leading a large transformation program, implementing a cloud-based Enterprise Architecture to industrialise the delivery of new business services.

Business development, technology and market research in partnership with a China-base solar tech leading expert: Co-development of an analysis model to quantify the economic performance of photovoltaic technologies; Industrial concept, supply chain analysis and business plan for a solar panel mass-production venture in South-East Asia. In parallel with Chinese Language Studies: HSK3 passed in Oct 2011; HSK4 test in Mar 2012 (153 points; pass rate: 180)

Responsible for group-level strategic projects and operations development initiatives in growth markets.

Joined the Chinese management team to set-up a joint-venture with a state-owned HR services company and integrate the new entity's operations. Coached the JV teams on process and operational performance improvement, IT and project governance; integrated the JV into the group's global process framework and organisation.

Assessed the potential economic benefits of the group's new IT strategy. Led cross-functional teams (operations, finance, IT) in the group's 6 largest country units (US, UK, FR, DE, IT, JN) to analyse a 5-year IT investment plan. Identified a large, untapped potential of savings and synergies across the local investment pipes. Translated the financial business case into an implementation roadmap. Designed a set of processes and KPIs to track the benefits delivered by cross-national IT projects.

Joined the Indian management team to streamline local service operations. Established and led a steering committee overseeing the transformation program. Reorganized and industrialized service and backoffice processes across India's 5 regional hubs; deployed an integrated ERP system. Re-engineered internal HR processes using 6Sigma (DMAIC) methodology.

Coached the local engineering team of an acquired Chinese company on operational processes and project governance; integrated the team into the global customer projects organization. Built-up an offshore, in-house engineering service capacity to support project delivery teams around the world.

R&D project management and process industrialization.

As a consultant project manager, led and successfully completed the transfer of microelectronic devices mass-production from a Motorola factory in the US to a Swiss manufacturing plant. Project included process development, ramp-up to mass production and quality control (deploying SPC, a 6Sigma production process control and improvement methodology.)

Responsible for the logistics of a large cigarette manufacturing plant under construction in Romania: designed and submitted logistics concept to client management; international bdding and on-site commissioning of storage and mechanical equipment (USD 2.5m spend); process optimization.
