• Ph. D. Canditate in Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (ETSIT) of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in Telematics Systems Engineering Department Program.
o Research Proficiency and Diploma of Advanced Studies obtained in 2008.
• Telecommunication Engineer degree in Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación (ETSIT) of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2000-2005), specializing in Communications and strengthening in Radiocommunications Systems.
o Special Mention in Degree Final Project, which can be found under the following title “Architecture Research and Design for Services Management Platform with Broadband Network Access oriented for Wi-Fi technologies” (December 2005).
Professional Experience
• 2010 – Present. Currently working for Indra Sistemas as Systems Engineer, since 1st October 2010, in PSSBA project (Broadband Services Selection Platform).
• 2006 – 2010. R&D Engineer at Telefónica I+D, from 1st November 2006 to 30th September 2010, in PSSBA project (Broadband Services Selection Platform), which involved the development, implementation and support of QoS on demand services platform in South-America (Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina). Main activities:
o Fixed access network design based on Juniper (ERX, E320), Cisco (6400, 10000) and Ericsson (SE-1200) B-RAS solutions.
o Mobile access network design based on Nokia Flexi ISN GGSN.
o QoS on demand provisioning based on Juniper SDX/SRC and Cisco SSG/ISG platforms.
o AAA Architectures and Billing/Rating platforms. Online (prepaid) and offline (postpaid services) charging.
o Design and development of platform solutions based on Java services and Oracle PL/SQL.
o In-situ (Chile and Argentina) consultancy in order to improve and upgrade Telefonica networks and platforms.
o In-situ (Chile and Argentina) consultancy in order to support Telefonica platform evolution to a Fixed-Mobile Convergent platform.
Also involved in several innovation projects related to NGN and IMS platforms, in order to support Telefónica evolution to a convergent platform, such as:
o VISION Project (CENIT Spanish Innovation Program): New Generation Video Communications.
o VITAL Project (Framework Programme VI): Access Networks Convergence for IMS Platforms.

• 2006. R&D Engineer in a network engineering company (Devoteam Fringers), from 5th January 2006 to 31st October 2006, collaborating with Telefónica I+D company in PSSBA project (Broadband Services Selection Platform).
• 2004 – 2006. Grant at Telefónica I+D (30 and 40 hours per week), from 5 July 2004 until 4 January 2006, working in PSSBA project (Broadband Services Selection Platform).
