Dr.-Ing. Johannes Müller ist als 'Senior Manager Knowledge Management' für Siemens am Hauptsitz der Building Technologies Division in Zug (Schweiz) tätig. Seit Januar 2005 konzipiert, entwickelt und administriert er die firmenintern und weltweit genutzte Wissensmanagement-Anwendung "
References@BT". Neben Content-Management und Community-Betreuung umfasst sein Verantwortungsbereich auch die Pflege der datenbankbasierten Intranet-Anwendung, welche als echte Eigenentwicklung von ihm selbst konzipiert, programmiert und kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt wird.
An der Technischen Universität München studierte Johannes Müller bis 1990 Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik. Am dortigen Lehrstuhl für Mensch-Maschine-Kommunikation promovierte er 1997 mit dem Thema "Die semantische Gliederung zur Repräsentation des Bedeutungsinhalts innerhalb sprachverstehender Systeme". Seine berufliche Laufbahn bei Siemens begann 1998 im Bereich öffentliche Transportnetze, wo er Schulungen für Mitarbeiter und Kunden zu Management-Systemen von Telekommunikationsnetzen abhielt. In den Jahren 2000-2004 war er als 'Global Editor' im zentralen Wissensmanagement-Team bei Siemens Communications in München für die firmenintern und weltweit genutzte Anwendung "
Com ShareNet" (früher "ICN/ICM ShareNet") zuständig.

Dr.-Ing. Johannes Müller is working as 'Senior Manager Knowledge Management' for Siemens at the International Headquarters of the Building Technologies Division in Zug (Switzerland). Since January 2005, he develops and administrates the company-internal and globally deployed knowledge management (KM) application "
References@BT". Besides content management and community support, his tasks also include the maintenance of this web application, which is - as proprietary development - planned, implemented and continuously enhanced by himself.
In 1990, Johannes Müller finished his studies of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Munich University of Technology. At this university's Institute of Human-Machine-Communication, he received his Ph.D. in 1997 with the topic "The semantic structure for representing the contextual meaning within speech understanding applications". His professional carreer started in 1998 at Siemens Information and Communication Networks, where he conducted trainings for Siemens' employees and customers concerning management systems for large telecommunication networks. During 2000-2004, he belonged to the central KM team at the International Headquarters of Siemens Communications in Munich, where he was responsible for the company-internal and globally deployed KM application "
