About me

Jorn Bettin specialises in managing the risks of developing data-intensive and software-intensive products. He has an international track record in guiding technology companies through difficult transitions/paradigm shifts.

Jorn is the IBRS executive advisor for strategic risk management, operational excellence, implementation of mergers & acquisitions, and large-scale systems & architecture management. He has a hands-on background in C-level product management and technology roles in tier-1 software companies, specialising in value chain engineering, software as a service, customer relationship management, pricing engines, and billing; with a focus on the government sector and the finance, logistics, and life science industries.

Jorn has pioneered value chain analysis methodologies, has co-authored three books on Model Driven Engineering, and regularly speaks at international conferences. In the late 90s he worked in methodology leadership roles at IBM. Jorn works with top-level subject matter experts to uncover and activate deep domain knowledge.

Jorn designed the core of Gmodel.org – The Semantic Database. He advises on the development of smart open source cloud solutions.
