Josip Sagaj

Josip’s key strength is the ability to define and explain IT strategies to Top Level Management (CxO level), as well as to understand technical topics and the languages of the IT Experts. This unique capability makes Josip a trusted advisor at the CxO level as well as for IT Experts.

Josip is currently working as a Lead Solution Consultant and certified Senior Project Manager at Hewlett Packard’s Technology Consulting department. He is with HP since 2001 and has in total over 25 years of experience in the IT industry.

Josip’s focus as a Lead Solution Consultant is in the worldwide HP program called “Mainframe Alternative”. Josip is running this program in the EMEA sub region “GWE” (includes Austria, Switzerland, BeNeLux, and Nordic countries), where he is leading the customer engagements. The engagements are starting with first meetings and presentations, then Josip is supervising the whole sales cycle together with the local HP sales representatives, and delivering consulting and assessment services by himself. The delivery project execution is handed over to the local HP teams in the countries and Josip becomes part of the steering committees for these projects.

Before joining HP, Josip was a Project Manager for software development projects in large accounts (manly banks) in Austria. And before that he gained experience as a developer of CRM applications in the insurance segment.

Josip has also a very good understanding of IT Infrastructure (Hardware Servers and Storage) as well as IT processes.
