AG.Mitarbeit IT und später Informatikleitung bei einem Handelshaus für Rohbaumwolle, danach Entwicklungsleiter "Neue Technologien" und Projektleiter für Integrationsprojekte bei der Polynorm Software AG.
November 1999 bis September 2004 Partner von Namics und als CTO verantwortlich für die technologische Basis.Wichtige Arbeitsgebiete umfassen "Accessibility" (behindertengerechte Online-Angebote), Information Retrieval / Suchmaschinentechnologie und -optimierung, hochskalierbare Systemarchitekturen und Social Software. Seit November 2004 CEO von Namics.
Jürg Stuker ist Vorstandsmitglied der Schweizerischen Bibliothek für Blinde und Sehbehinderte und Präsident der Technologiejury bei BestOfSwiss Web.
