Business Experience:

 Accomplished Supply Chain Manager and Purchase Director with experience in strategy programs, logistics concepts including increase of the company’s profitability and optimizing profit and costs parameters. Re-organized supply chain processes and supplier management in internationally as well as locally operating companies in the manufacturing (appliances, industrial filter systems) and automotive industry. Responsibility for multinational teams up to 35 persons.
 Participated in the integration and consolidation process of two groups in the automotive sector after M&A process. Responsible for integration and re-organization of the Supply Chain Management within the corporate matrix organization with a central sector supply chain management organization. Synchronized the two different operating methods and procurement strategies as well as alignment of different business cultures and cross-functional team management and communication. Conducted staff trainings in regards to US American reporting requirements, culture and standards (including SOX and ethical codes). Invented an adequate purchasing control system in alignment of ERP systems and implementation of reporting systems.
 Harmonized important target groups and coordinated third party management and operations and achieved sustainable improvement in the business performance and transparency in processes in the European organization.
 Represented the European interests during the development of the global purchasing strategy for the purchase of raw materials (EPDM/metals) at a global operating automotive supplier.
 Led reduction programs and lean projects throughout the merger activities of waste management suppliers initiated by private equity companies. Developed an European purchasing strategy for achieving savings goals with a focus on the Eastern Europe & Far East and established an efficient Supply-Chain between those regions as well as consignment stocks
 Established a European Central Purchasing department including purchase strategy for savings in Far East and India at an internationally operating manufacturer of industrial filter systems and filter equipment. Set up, definition and implementation of a supplier assessment system based on KPI's. Created a multi- and cross-functional supply chain organization in close collaboration with the commercial sector such as controlling including evaluation and alignment of internal procedures along the entire process of value creation.
 Optimized the ordering and storage system to improve adherence to delivery dates and in time delivery with a reduction of the circulating assets with a focus on suppliers from the Far East. Supported strategic purchasing to safeguard planned purchasing benefits based on framework agreements at a manufacturer of valves and hydraulic parts.
