About me
Hallo, mein Name ist Klaus Zerbe.
Ich lebe in Mainz und beschäftige mich bei der l-s-b Broadcast Technologies mit der Entwicklung von Steuerungssoftware für Fernsehstudios und erledige auch privat viel mit der
Programmierung, Administration und Konfiguration von Computern aller Art
von 8-Bit Microcontrollern über "ordinäre" PCs bis hin zu Servern in
den Datacentern der "Cloud".
Ich kenne mich sowohl in der Microsoft- als auch der Unix/BSD/Linux- Welt recht gut aus, nutze bevorzugt OpenSource- Software, schrecke aber auch nicht vor Microsoft-Schöpfungen wie der Windows-CE API, COM, .NET oder Silverlight zurück, wenn damit etwas besser geht.
Neben dem Programmieren ist meine Leidenschaft das Schreiben- in meinem DokuWiki Eternity does not exist publiziere ich neben Artikeln zu kleinen Multimedia-Projekten auch Kurzgeschichten. Im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Programmierern dokumentiere ich daher Software auch gern und (hoffentlich) gut. Wohl deshalb habe ich auch mehr als 15 Jahre als Autor für die Computerzeitschrift c't Artikel verfaßt.
