Hi,
Currently, the Software Projects become more complicated and tools, which we are using for them, are also. For a really complex project we need several groups of developers, huge numbers of different technologies and not always clearly defined requirements. It is very easy to focus on details and loose the "common vision" of the project.
Normally, the coding takes only 30% of the project time. Normally, but unfortunately not usually. I help to prepare the rest 70% - Software Architecture and Design from requirements and use case till subroutines implementation, Development process, Unit testing, code optimization etc.
