Salve, mi chiamo Laura Tenorini e mi occupo di traduzioni.

Il tipo di formazione da me perseguito è stato incentrato sull'apprendimento e approfondimento di conoscenze linguistiche e letterarie: ho conseguito la maturità linguistica (lingue studiate: Inglese, Francese e Tedesco) e la Laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere, specializzandomi nell'Inglese e nel Francese.

Quando ancora frequentavo l'Università, ho cominciato a lavorare come traduttrice in-house presso un'importante ditta del settore edile.
Il materiale da me tradotto comprendeva manuali, schede tecniche, documenti legali e commerciali, e corrispondenza in lingua estera.
La mia mansione comprendeva inoltre il lavoro di revisione e di editing di documenti e manuali scritti in Inglese, Francese e Italiano da tecnici esperti del settore, i quali però non padroneggiavano queste lingue in modo fluente.

Dopo aver mantenuto l'incarico per tre anni e aver avuto l'opportunità di familiarizzarmi con l'industria della traduzione, ho cominciato a lavorare come traduttrice freelance: attività che svolgo da quattro anni, sia per clienti diretti che agenzie di traduzione.

Le traduzioni da me realizzate sono caratterizzate da precisione grammaticale, coerenza terminologica e da una particolare attenzione nei confronti delle esigenze del cliente.

Hi, my name is Laura Tenorini and I'm a freelance translator.

I have a High School Diploma in Foreign Languages (English, French and German) and a University Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, specializing in English and French.

While I was at University I started working as an in-house translator in an important company in the building industry. I used to translate manuals, technical sheets, legal documents and foreign correspondance.
The work also included the proofreading and editing of documents and manuals already written in English, French and Italian by technicians who were not fluent in these languages.

After having done that job for three years and having had the opportunity to familiarise myself with the translation industry, I decided to start working as a freelancer.
I have been freelance translating for the past four years, both for direct clients and translation agencies.

My translations are characterized by grammatical accuracy, terminological coherence and by a particular attention to the client's needs.
