About me

For almost three decades, Leslie Kavanaugh has assisted Southern California clients as a real estate agent. She currently guides individuals through the home-buying process as an agent with Sotheby’s International Realty, which she joined in 1998. Leslie Kavanaugh offers her expertise on properties in Beverly Hills, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, and Brentwood. Previously, she served as a Manager and Estates Director for the Jon Douglas Company. During her tenure with both firms, Leslie Kavanaugh received multiple awards for excellence. 

A native of Beverly Hills, Leslie Kavanaugh grew up attending local schools, including El Rodeo School and Beverly Hills High School. Her parents actively participated in the community by serving on various nonprofit boards. Subsequently, she began her postsecondary education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed her degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She also earned a graduate degree in teaching from UCLA. Before entering the field of real estate, she served as a teacher in local schools, including her alma mater, El Rodeo School. She also pursued a career as an interior designer.

At present, Leslie Kavanaugh actively participates in philanthropic endeavors. In 2011, she co-chaired a charitable fund-raiser for City of Hope, which conducts cancer research. The event focused on the haute couture collection of a notable Italian designer and included entertainment from The Dueling Fiddlers. Additionally, Leslie Kavanaugh serves on the boards of numerous nonprofits, including Virginia Robinson Gardens, the Sheryl Weisberg Lymphoma Research Fund, and Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles/Camp Max Straus. For almost 20 years, she has assisted Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles, which provides mentoring support programs for thousands of young people, and she has received multiple accolades in recognition of her contributions. Leslie Kavanaugh currently serves as Chair the Development Committee and also belongs to several committees that focus on events, finances, and scholarships.
