I have provided VUI Design & speech / voice application development services to clients such as APPLE, RAYTHEON / BBN and the GERSON LEHRMAN GROUP in the US; AVIVA, BRITISH GAS, BARCLAYS, CAPGEMINI, LITTLEWOODS, and the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK; VODAFONE, SIEMENS and SONY in Germany; SWISSCOM in Switzerland and OMILIA in Greece. I have worked for +10 speech application providers, e.g. CONVERGYS / INTERVOICE, VOXGEN, JAMIP, VICORP, SEMANTICEDGE, SYMPALOG and VOICEWEB.
I have designed, specified, branded, developed, tested, fixed, tuned and optimised speech and touchtone IVR applications across +15 different verticals (e.g. Banking, Telecoms, Retail, Insurance, Utilities, the Automobile Industry, and Government): voice self-service applications for Call Centres, speech-enabled websites (voice portals), speech navigation systems and device control; and voice-to-text mobile apps (e.g. voice search, voice dialling, employee management).
With more than a decade experience in People and Project Management, I can relate to and effectively communicate with people from different educational, technical and cultural backgrounds. I am particularly well-versed in translating requirements into technical specifications.
Originally from Greece, I have spent the last two decades between the UK and Germany, and also speak French fluently. So I am both multilingual and multicultural. I have designed and optimised voice services for English, German, French and Greek.
