Principal Engineer for DNV Energy Aberdeen, intended for class approval or third part verification of offshore structures.
Former Structural Design Approval Engineer (HO External Approval Unit) for Germanischer Lloyd Romania - member of Germanischer Lloyd Group – in charge with examination and approval of the hull structural drawings from the local shipyards.
Significant experience in the design and approval of the specific structures of container vessels, oil / chemical tankers, bulk-carriers and not only.
Significant experience for the handling of various technical situations (including a large range of design restrictions – technical, economical or human) in order to achieve the safety requirements.
Close cooperation with all the parts involved in shipbuilding – starting from the designers, through the quality and production departments and the owner representative - up to the final customer.
Trained as field surveyor too.
Basic training (entries levels) in ND Testing (US), ISM, QA ISO 9000 rev. 2000 and project management.
