About me
Prior to founding Nutrition Science Solutions, Mark Dreher, Ph.D., accrued an impressive record of research and development positions, most notably at Mead Johnson Nutritionals in Evansville, Indiana, and McNeil Nutritionals, LLC, in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. At the former firm, Mark Dreher served as Director of Regulatory Affairs and Vice President of Global Discovery, Analytical, Regulatory, and Scientific Affairs. In this capacity, he oversaw regulatory teams, assisted in crisis management, and aided in formulating the strategic research and development road map. As Vice President of Research and Development at McNeil Nutritionals, Mark Dreher provided oversight in such areas as product development, discovery, regulatory matters, and medical research.
A Nutrition Scientist at the Avocado Nutrition Center, Mark Dreher, Ph.D., is also a member of the Nutrition Research Committee of the Almond Board of California. His membership affiliations have included the American Heart Association, the American Chemical Society, the Institute of Food Technologists, and the American Society for Nutrition. Mark Dreher, Ph.D., has chaired committees of the International Life Sciences Institute and served as an expert panelist for the report of a joint Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations/World Health Organization Expert Consultation on Carbohydrates in Human Nutrition. At the University of California, Los Angeles, he earned an undergraduate degree in biochemistry. He completed an M.S.in Agricultural Biochemistry and Nutrition as well as a doctorate in biochemistry and nutrition at the University of Arizona.
