About me

I was born in London in 1954 and spent over 30 years there. I went to University and afterwards worked as a teacher for eight years, again in London.

In1984 I decided on a career change and joined a firm of recruitment consultants staying for eight years, working my way up through the ranks to successfully run several profit centres for the company in London and Birmingham.

In 1992 I came to Germany with my wife and son and moved to Mönchengladbach where I have stayed. I spent six years in the call centre environment in management before going self-employed in the area of Executive Search in 1998. I started off with nothing and have built up a successful business over the past 13 years.

My success is due in part to a lasting positive attitude, even when the going gets tough. I have a “never give up” mentality and will work until I am convinced that my customers are happy. Other qualities I possess include a high level of professionalism and integrity and generally going that extra mile.

A very keen walker I have completed some epic long distance “walks” across some of the hardest terrain that the world has to offer, for example in South Africa through the Drakensberg, Canada, the USA and Europe. In 2004 I successfully walked the GR. 20 across Corsica, reputed to be the toughest long distance – high alpine- walk of its type in Europe.
